Summary of SFIA Industry Affairs
This is one of the hidden gems within the SFIA. We work with industry groups and companies within industry segments to tackle unique challenges.

Key Industry Affairs Services and Activities
Over the past year, SFIA has worked with our Soccer Industry Council of America (SICA) group to form an American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) working group relating to the issue of soccer goal standards. Working with SFIA members, we help solve common issues relating to standards, including consulting members for their views on potential standards changes.
Get in the Game
SFIA supports, Get in the Game, which is a program built within the Sporting Goods Industry dedicated to getting the industry what it needs: individuals who possess the skills and talents to be innovators of modern brands and technologies that are leading the consumer goods market.
Protective equipment used in team sports at the high school, collegiate and professional level must meet NOCSAE standards. SFIA representation insures these standards are equitable and consistently applied.
