2015 SFIA Litigation & Risk Management Summit to Feature "Avoiding Nightmares and Catastrophes" Session
The 2015 SFIA Litigation & Risk Management Summit (February 2-3, Cosmopolitan Hotel Las Vegas) will feature the return of, “Avoiding Nightmares and Catastrophes IV". The panel will feature a mix of corporate decision makers and regulatory and trial lawyers who will help you anticipate and defeat problems that might lie around the next regulatory corner.
Join Buckyballs founder and CEO Craig Zucker and members of his defense team in exploring steps your companies can take to defuse a potential nightmare and foil a potential catastrophe.
This year's session will be drawn from the story of Buckyballs, those highly magnetized adult desk toys that ended up in the sights of the CPSC and, ultimately, the courts.
Lawyers, in-house counsels, risk managers, import/export personnel, regulatory compliance personnel, and chemical content compliance personnel from across the sports and fitness industry will convene for this annual Summit to gain guidance and learn of ways to navigate through the changing landscape of legal risk and regulatory threats while earning Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Credits.
The agenda for the 2015 Summit includes topics such as Helmets and Traumatic Brain Injuries, Intellectual Property and Patents, and Current Expectations and Trends Related to CPSC Recalls. Early bird registration will close on January 5, 2015 and space is currently limited. To learn more about the 2015 Summit and register, please visit www.sfia.org/lrms.
